Hey everybody: I just wanted to post a very quick little post, and ask you to follow my sister/best friend’s blog, The Neon Guava (she wanted to name her blog and instagram very differently, but I practically sat down and begged for a whole day before we finally agreed to do “matching” blogs!).
Go to: The Neon Guava
I’d love it if you followed her- Amelie’s actually a really good writer! Also, on Instagram and Polyvore, she’s @navyblueguava. We’re also sharing pics, so you might find that our blogs overlap!
Bye and thanks to all of you!
Before I do anything else, I’m making sure that I at least write one quick post now just to let you all know that I haven’t fallen off a cliff (those things do happen. Also, that was mean to be a joke, so don’t take it the slightest bit seriously. It’s just my side of bad jokes kicking in).
The first thing that I wanted to say was, of course, “Happy Halloween”, and the next thing that I wanted to say was that I didn’t even go trick-or-treating, because my friends all decided that they were to old for a night of fun and candy, all canceled, and left me staring after them. Pretty typical. Anyhow, I went ahead and watched “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs II”, and it was SO enjoyable! (Especially since there were no scary parts. Scary movies on scary nights are definitely not my thing.)
IF I had gone trick-or-treating, I would have probably dressed up as Morticia, the mom in the Adam’s Family. If you don’t know who she or the Adam’s Family are, then click on whatever search engine you use right now. What were you for Halloween? How much candy did you collect? Give me all the details!
Hey everybody! How is your weekend going?
I managed to snag a few minutes from my extremely competitive weekend schedule (both riding and volleyball) to discover one of my new favorite singers: Lana Del Rey. Watch this video and tell me what you think of her!
I have always adored organic, mostly because it’s refreshing to know that there are no harmful, cancer-causing chemicals that accompany the word “organic”. However, there are very few companies that actually do organic right, and amongst these is my new favorite: a brand new company, still not up in stores until later in the year. They have sent me some testers, which I am absolutely in love with. This skincare company is called “Calyne”, or “Calyne: Skincare Beyond Organic”.
You can check out their website, pre-order, or find out more for the time being at Calyne.com. I will post again later in the year when Calyne is in stores! See you later!
Today, I chose some of my favorite abnormal school items to share with you. I would say, that these are all absolutely necessary. Mini decorative tape? Useful for lockers, desks, and notebooks, not to mention that these tapes have the sweetest patterns ever! I also love “Chinese” erasers, such as the ones I pictured above. There is nothing like cute writing additions to brighten up your day. I also adore the collection of bracelets, and the sticky papers for little notes to friends. Clear nail polish may not seem like much, but it has its uses. Your nails look clean and glamorous, all while not boasting out the fact that you’re wearing nail polish. Plus, if you mess it up when you’re applying it, no one will be able to tell. What are some of your favorite back-to-school favorites?
I am, as a matter of fact, going to spend the rest of the day running after my dog, trying to get the last shots and video clips I need for my own little movie about my dog. I am probably going to post it on YouTube, but definitely also on here! I haven’t forgotten you guys, but it’s just that I found out that my life isn’t only centered around my own little space of the internet. Life’s going great, thank you very much. You?
This weekend, I was thinking about the word funny. It’s ironic, because the word “funny” actually feels kind of funny to me when I say it. There are so many funny things in life, and so little time to retell them, so I was thinking, what if you told us your funny stories, and not the other way around? Go ahead and post in the comments!
You know that moment when you’re about to DIE because you told a story that you thought was super funny, but apparently, your audience doesn’t agree on the funny part, and you try to make something extra up on the spot just so that the person/people will laugh? I was just thinking about how ridiculously often I do that, since nobody ever understands my sense of humor…
I wish that I had a friend like actress Kiernan Shipka and does. It’s unfortunate that practically all my neighbors are grumpy grown-ups who find that even my precious volleyball is too much for their immaculate lawns.
I’m usually not somebody who is much in favor of Ariana Grande, but her new video for “Baby I” reminds me just too much of my summers- the party, the dancing, and the fun. I’ll give Ariana Grande that much for once!
What are some of your favorite videos this week? Post links in the comments!
